The secret to lighting a large house is not using more lights. It is choosing the architectural lines, landscape features and arrival views that deserve attention.

Start with the architecture

Choose the strongest rooflines, gables, porticos, bays or columns. A coherent warm-white composition usually reads more clearly than several unrelated light styles.

Add the landscape selectively

On a property set back from the road, a gate, approach or one specimen tree may carry more visual weight than another line on the house. Design the arrival as a sequence rather than lighting every available surface.

Scope-led pricing

Seasonal exterior installations start at £1,500. Enhanced exteriors are £2,500–£4,000 and statement exteriors are £4,000–£5,000+. Larger or more complex briefs are reviewed individually. The fixed quote reflects coverage, access, materials and installation time, not the property label or postcode.

The service includes design, the lights and equipment, fitting, in-season maintenance and January take-down. Lighting is normally supplied on seasonal hire — we take it down in January and the kit comes back to us.
